LW Design was commissioned to design Monteverdi, a refined Italian restaurant in Istanbul that reinterprets the classic butcher shop through a contemporary lens. The space features an open cold kitchen, sculptural central bar, private dining room, and terrace conceived as a winter garden. Rich materials—Calacatta Viola marble, velvet drapery, and timber accents—combine with thoughtful lighting and acoustic detailing to create an immersive dining environment. Despite technical challenges and budget constraints, the team delivered a layered and theatrical experience that celebrates Italian hospitality with modern precision.
