Kotak Design, based in Harrow, London, was commissioned to design the interior for BKC (Biryani Kebab Chai), a contemporary Indian restaurant in Soho. The brief called for an immersive dining experience that honours the rich culinary traditions of Awadhi cuisine while responding to the site’s compact footprint and high-energy context. Kotak Design incorporated sculptural terracotta installations, modular seating, and layered lighting to balance ambience and operational flow. Handcrafted materials and sustainable finishes reinforce cultural authenticity, resulting in a distinctive, brand-defining interior that delivers comfort, efficiency, and atmosphere—perfectly tailored for the fast-paced dining culture of central London.
