marquardt+ designed the liquor library as a private, inward facing idiosyncratic retreat to showcase the client's private liquor collection in a secluded, otherworldly way. Located below their home to be distinctively used to escape their everyday life and professional demands. Almost introverted in execution, we created a surreal environment where our clients forget what is outside and enjoy their love of exceptional spirits and film inside, sometimes including select guests. This space is adjacent to game rooms, bathroom and a guest area, all of which were part of their reuse of the unoccupied garden unit below their main home.
