In 2019, Roisin Lafferty and Dublin Design Studio reimagined Infinity House, a marine villa set on 2.5 acres. Built in 1830 and expanded in the 1880s, the grounds slope down to the sea, where a beach hut and floodlit tennis court are located. The original house retains features such as cast-iron windowsills, along with sash, casement, and arched windows. The design team consciously preserved the homes' historic framework while adding a bold extension. A striking connecting structure with an interjecting staircase links old and new, blending architecture, interior, and landscape into a timeless, boundary-pushing design.
