The 1950s Georgian Colonial had been passed from mother to daughter, who wanted a redesign that functioned better and suited her colorful taste. Design Manifest overhauled the floorplan by moving walls, opening closed passages, and swapping rooms for better function and flow. A guest house addition was also created over the existing garage. The goal was a colorful home with a tasteful mix of traditional and modern - like a grandparent's sofa redone in a cheeky modern fabric. The result is a home that feels thoughtfully layered - an overall traditional vibe, but with fun & modern touches thrown in for energy.
