Built in 1839, this 5,360-square-foot historic commercial building is one of the Western Reserve’s oldest structures still in use. Saved from demolition in 1962 by community advocacy, it became a catalyst for regional preservation efforts. In 2023, a comprehensive renovation honored that legacy, transforming each floor to reflect a unique design narrative: the first celebrates history through preserved architectural details and modern hospitality; the second energizes contemporary work with bold, focused design; the third fosters future thinking in an open, flexible layout. Completed in December 2023, the project blends heritage, functionality, and vision. Breathing new life into a cherished landmark.
