SickKids Patient Support Centre
Toronto, Canada
All project descriptions are provided by SBID Awards entrants.
The 22-storey SickKids Patient Support Centre (PSC) in Toronto is designed as a specialized workplace for the education, training, and administration of Canada’s leading pediatric healthcare organization, The Hospital for Sick Children. This required a multidisciplinary approach from B+H encompassing architecture, workplace interiors, and landscape design. The PSC connects the Clinical Hospital to the Peter Gilgan Centre for Research and Learning, emphasizing the link between research and patient care. By housing over 3,000 staff across more than 30 departments, the PSC fosters a collaborative environment focused on innovative healthcare delivery, embodying SickKids' mission of “Healthier Children. A Better World.”
