MR STUDIO Co., Ltd. was commissioned to design the interior of Aida Sekkei’s new precut timber factory in Ibaraki, Japan. The project features a 100-meter-long glass corridor that allows visitors to observe the full timber processing sequence. The interior emphasizes Aida Sekkei’s philosophy by exposing structural elements and incorporating a custom scissor truss made from standard timber components typically used in housing. The design merges workplace functionality with architectural expression, creating a space that conveys the company’s commitment to tradition, transparency, and technical excellence.
