This project transforms a former brewing space into Blue Rock Swim Club—a moody, immersive bar inspired by abandoned underground bathhouses. By repurposing a service corridor as the new primary entrance and carving a dramatic pool cutout into the foundation, the brutalist design evokes the feeling of wading through water. Layered materials, custom lighting, and curated furnishings blend brutalism with warmth, drawing from L.A. and Brazilian Modernism. The result is a tactile, brutalist, and eclectic venue that elevates the city’s cultural scene through bespoke craftsmanship and evocative storytelling.
