Claire Dominics Buro was commissioned to design and specify the full interior concept, including schematic design, detailed plans, shop drawings, and custom furniture for the Turquoise Apartment in Abu Dhabi. Inspired by the natural landscape and cultural heritage of the UAE, the design blends modern aesthetics with traditional Arabic influences such as curved forms, mashrabiya-inspired details, and rich natural materials like limestone, onyx, and wood. The apartment was carefully crafted to feel calm, elegant, and light-filled, with bespoke furniture and finishes reflecting a strong connection to place, culture, and timeless living.
