Wabi-Sabi Serenity is the Taichung headquarters of TAYU, a construction and design company. The project transforms a three-storey townhouse into a contemplative office space that blends architecture, craft, and sustainability. Inspired by Eastern philosophy, the design uses bamboo flooring, mineral paints, and reclaimed temple stones to express stillness and authenticity. Passive lighting and ventilation strategies reduce energy use while promoting wellbeing. Every surface and detail reflects intentionality and care. More than a workplace, the headquarters becomes a physical reflection of the brand’s ethos—a place of quiet clarity and enduring presence.
