MAAPS was appointed by London & Regional Properties to lead the interior architecture and design of the Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort guestroom refurbishment. Working in collaboration with Marriott International as operator, the practice delivered 301 reimagined rooms — including new Family and Ocean Suites — each crafted to reflect the island’s light, tactility, and laid-back elegance. The design incorporates custom furnishings, upgraded technology, and a layered material palette inspired by the sea, sand, and coral reefs. With sustainability, durability, and guest wellbeing at its core, the project extends the success of the hotel’s “Summer House” ethos into every private space.
