Auric Interior Design transformed part of a 19th-century stone cottage into a contemporary primary suite, carefully balancing original features with modern design. Two en suite bedrooms were reconfigured into a spacious retreat, incorporating a steam room, dressing area and bespoke detailing. Oak-clad exposed beams reference the cottage’s history, while a refined palette of materials creates a calm, cohesive atmosphere. The design thoughtfully integrates storage, functionality and comfort, delivering a space that feels both timeless and tailored to the client’s lifestyle, while remaining sympathetic to the character of the building.
