This luxuriously detailed Sydney residence was inspired by the idea of phenomenal transparency. The concept was interwoven into the design through a series of material layers, where multiple planes of paneling, marble, timber and specialty finishes, were strategically positioned throughout the spaces. Views were crafted in the new interior plan, to enable glimpses of these finishes from room to room, encouraging the viewer to be inquisitive. The spatial layering and interconnectedness in the interior architecture creates a unique harmony in the house, each room lending its design to the one adjacent. The combined effect produces a rich and multifaceted interior.
