Crawford Partnership transformed a disused Edwardian store on Muswell Hill Broadway into a mixed-use landmark. Within a constrained interiors budget, one flat was reimagined as a boutique ZEN residence. Featuring Impervia oak-effect flooring, Brigitte German kitchens with Planet Mars quartz worktops, integrated Bosch appliances, and a spa-like bathroom with skylight, porcelain tiles and layered LED lighting, it delivers calm and clarity. This result reflects close collaboration with client, contractor, agents, and suppliers over an 8-year journey. Energy-efficient systems and retained structure contributed to its EPC ‘C’ rating, proving adaptive reuse can deliver resilient, high-quality homes.
